Do you want to host a traditional Danish "Julefrokost," with world class beer and classic Danish Christmas food? Then Mikkeller Færgekroen is more than ready to accommodate you!

A Traditional Christmas Menu

For parties in between 9-120 people we offer two options: The Small Experience and The Full Experience. Expect to savor favorites like flæskesteg with crispy crackling pork rinds, brunede kartofler (caramelized potatoes), and smoked salmon, marinated herring and of course, plenty of akvavit to keep the spirits bright.

Beer & Schnapps

As add-ons, we offer wine/beer/water at will for 500 kr. pr. person, and additionally we offer schnapps for 150 kr. pr. person.

For a broader selection Mikkeller Færgerkroen has a offering of around 16 taps with everything from lagers to Indian Pale Ales and Mikkeller’s famous selection of alcohol free options.

Christiansøpigens marinated herring, served with sourcream, caper berries, and red onion

Smoked Salmon
Cold-smoked Danish salmon with horseradish cream and pickled onions

Danish Chicken Salad
Creamy chicken salad flavored with coarse mustard and herbs, topped with dry-cured bacon from Grambogaard

Egg & Hand-Peeled Shrimp
Soft-boiled egg and hand-peeled shrimp with lemon mayonnaise and dill

Second Serving
Served with rye bread & butter, braised potatoes, red cabbage, and gravy.

Ribbensteg from Grambogaard
Served with red cabbage and pork cracklings

Warm Liver Pâté
Veal liver pâté from Grambogaard with bacon and sautéed mushrooms

Fried Plaice Fillet
Locally caught flatfish, breaded in panko crumbs and served with homemade coarse remoulade and lemon

Three Kinds of Cheese
Carefully selected cheeses served with a tangy, salty, and crunchy accompaniment

Old-fashioned Apple Cake
Danish apples cooked with vanilla, layered with crispy almond cake and full-fat cream
